JESS MASTRO
Filmmaker . Director . Editor
Many of my earliest memories never happened. From getting to hold monkeys at the zoo while their cages were being cleaned to being serenaded by the cutest boy in my second-grade homeroom, I remember these fantasies as vividly as reality. I spent a large part of my childhood longing for events that felt real to me, but had no place in the real world. When I discovered filmmaking, that changed. There is no fantasy too absurd, no story too outlandish.
If I can see it, I can create it.
